FCDallas, in the visionary spirit and legacy of Lamar Hunt, will offer acomprehensive environment pursuing excellence in player development andindividual welfare.

Background

FCDallas Youth has seen notable changes in the club over the last several years.“Dallas Inter Soccer Club” had 46 Select and 14 Junior teams when it officially became “FC Dallas Youth”, a subsidiary of the professional MLS franchise FC Dallas™. FC Dallas Youth Soccer has grown significantly in recentyears, and has gained national recognition with the awarding of the two US Development Academy program teams for our older players and the continuedsuccess of our now 72 Select and 45 Junior teams. We have a full time FCDY administrative and front office staff that have greatly assisted the continued success of our coaches and on-field staff. Our FCDY team has continued to expand and will continue to develop further.

Overview

The FCD Youth program contains over 2,500 boys & girlsages U7 through U19. In 2010, players competed on over 72 select teams and 45 Junior teams. In 2011, we expect to have up to 100 select and 55 Junior teams. Select teamsplay in Divisions I, II, and III in Chamber Classic Classic League and LakeHighlands Girls Classic League,as well as in Plano and Arlington. Junior teams play in FCD Liga, SDL, PSA, and CAL.Our teams excel both locally and nationally. Our players represent our programin the most prestigious programsnationwide, including ODP, US Club’s id2, ECNL, The US Soccer Development Academy, the US and Mexican National Teams, and have also been drafted to play professionally both here in Dallas, at other MLS franchises, and for International Clubs worldwide. The FC Dallas Academy teams are currently ranked 1st place, respectively, in both their U16 & U18 divisions. Our teams travel worldwide totournaments such as the AegonFuture Cup in Holland, where FCDY competed against teams from Ajax, Barcelona,Liverpool, Bayern Munich, theChinese National Team, Anderlecht, and AC Milan. FCDY teams also continue toqualify each year for the DallasCup, this past year competing in the Supergroup against Chelsea,Monterrey,& Liga Deportiva Alajuelense. FCDY players who do not play professionally move on to the top U.S. colleges. FCD players are generation adidas players, homegrown players, & are at the pinnacle place for national and international recognition,recruitment, & development.
