Coaching Development Clinics
FCD will have its own age-specific Coach Development Clinics. These interactive Coach Clinics will provide training for all levels of coaching. FCD has created detailed curriculums for each youth soccer age group to educate coaches in age-appropriate techniques, skills and games. Each curriculum provides age-specific technical, tactical, physical and psychological goals. These are available for U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18 age groups.
Coach and Player Development Clinics
Additionally, FC Dallas will offer Combined Coach & Player Development Clinics. In these sessions, FCD will work directly with a group ofyouth soccer players and their coaches, explaining the content of the session as it happens. The Coaches Clinic will be staffed by one of the senior FCD fulltime Academy staff and can take place at your convenience.
NSCAA & FCD License Courses
The NSCAA Coaching Academy offers a wide range of educational opportunities to enhance the knowledge of soccer coaches. As an official MLS professional team, FCD prides itself with having the best soccer coaches and staff in the country. And as an additional incentive for FCDY coaches, we will offer the opportunity to have NSCAA licensed staff coaches run NSCAA non-residential courses here at FCD several times per year.
Free Clinics
Through association with FCD, your team can receive a free introductory coach’s Clinic. This is a great opportunity to see the FCD philosophy and the quality of our staff and curriculum first hand. The session will run for 1.5 hrs with one of the FCD Coaches.
