The FCDY 99 Girls played their three matches in the bracket round this weekend resulting in two shutout wins and a nil-nil tie. The second level tie-breaker saw Solar 99 advance to next weekend's semi-final on goal differential 10-7. In their first match, the FCDY girls defeated Fort Worth FC White by a 3-0 score. The marquee matchup on Sunday morning saw a real battle ending in a nil-nil tie vs Solar 99 with the FCDY keeper making some outstanding saves including an amazing parry wide of a sure goal. Needing another strong match vs the visiting Lubbock Lonestar 99 Blue squad, they responded with a 4-0 result scoring the final three tallies in the second half.
