USSDA HONORS FC DALLAS ACADEMY PLAYERS

Five U16 players called into U.S. Youth National Team Camp.

U.S. Soccer announced Sunday that four FC Dallas Academy players received honors during the U-17/18 Finals Week for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

FC Dallas Academy forward Ruben Luna and Moises Hernandez earned Development Academy Starting XI honors for the U-17/U-18 USSDA. Midfielder Victor Uloa landed a spot on the Conference Starting XI while Jonathan Top was named to the Starting XI for the U-16 Central Conference.

The U-18 FC Dallas Academy team competed in the finals last week. At the conclusion of the team's 2010 USSDA Season the U-18 team is ranked 6th out of 77 teams.

FC Dallas' U-16 Academy Team is currently preparing for the Soccer United Marketing (SUM) Cup, which is being held in conjunction with the MLS All-Star game at Houston's Centennial Park from July 23 to July 29. For the first time in the tournaments four-year history, every MLS team will be represented in the U-17 SUM Cup.

FC Dallas' U-16 Academy team will be five starting players short of its full squad during the SUM Cup. Daniel Garcia, Jonathan Top, Michael Ambrose, Boyd Okwuonu and Richard Sanchez have been called into the U.S. Youth National Team Camp.
